Albert Hofmann, who discovered LSD died today. Do you have any thoughts about this?I thought he died a couple weeks ago. Nope, died today. That sucks because there is no such thing as real acid anymore, and thats why I refuse to take it. Luckily, I have a hippie uncle, that through osmosis I don't have to take anything. He can get me high just being around him. I've learned allot from him.

Is it harder now that you've left your agency and are independent?Its not harder to be on my own. I just think it was time for me. I've been in the business for a few years now, so I grew in the business and knew I could do it on my own.

How much longer do you plan on being a performer? Do you want to build a life-long career like Jenna Jameson (of which people have compared you to)? If you do plan on leaving the industry what would be the next chapter for Sasha Grey? I plan for my career to be fruitful, but I cant put a number of months or years on how long my performing career will be. My next step is to start directing, and really getting my creative stamp on the projects I perform in. Every January, the porn world convenes on Las Vegas in a week of debaucherous mayhem for the AVN awards and the Adult Entertainment Expo. It's one of the only times a year where fans can meet their favorite starlets and vice versa. This year is looking like the best yet, Nautica Thorn, Nina Mercedez, Lexxi Tyler, Cassie Young, Maya Gates, Holly Wellin, Nevaeh, and Celeste Star will all be in attendance representing HUSTLER. We were able to catch up with the lovely Lexxi Tyler to ask her a few questions and see what she was looking forward to most about the convention.
So, you started off as a dancer. Do you ever find yourself at strip clubs just for fun?
I love, love, love strip clubs! I'm always going out to them. Every chance I get! I love beautiful women giving me dances and I've made a lot of good girlfriends there believe it or not. The VIP rooms are the best! It gets crazy in there; those girls are not shy! I'm always trying to recruit hahaha!
Well, 2007 is wrapping up. What was the best thing you did this year?
I think the most extraordinary thing I've done this past year, would have to be that I've completely recreated myself. Inside and out. I've done some upgrading on the outside and I've become more accepting on the inside. It's been quite a challenging year and I've been the busiest this year than ever before in my life and my career. It's all been really amazing!
Favorite purchase of the past year?
I am a shop-a-holic!! I think it's more like retail therapy for me. Derek Hay calls me the "resident Victoria Beckham". I love beautiful things! I guess, Christian Louboutin shoes and Versace handbags were the best purchases. I'm a sucker for those!
Any new year's resolutions?
I haven't really got any new year's resolutions. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing, because it's working!
What's your favorite and least favorite thing about the adult industry?
My favorite thing about the adult industry is that it's a fantasy land that I get to play in! It's so much fun dressing up, getting my hair and makeup done; then I get to have fun with HOT girls... and get paid!! My least favorite thing about the business is the people who don't respect that you're in a relationship and try to create drama. Other than that it's just peachy! Everyone is cool.
On that topic, if you date or meet someone outside the industry at what point to do you reveal to them what you do for a living?
I'm not shy about what I do for a living. People find it SO fascinating! But, I've been with Derrick Pierce (he's male talent) for 3 1/2 years. We got into the business together and we are a real power house team together.
So, where do you like to hang out in LA? What's your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Koi in Beverly Hills! They have this "to die for" appetizer called Krispy Rice that is SO addicting! It's very trendy, lots of eye candy in there, also there is always celebrities dining there so it makes it fun. I highly recommend it. Make reservations or they won't let you in the door. Not even for a cocktail at the bar.
Ok, last but not least. What are you looking forward to the most being at the HUSTLER booth during AEE?
I'm really excited to be signing for such an amazing company! It's an honor that they asked me to be one of the girls to represent them this year at the expo. I love Larry Flint! He's such an icon for our industry! All the girls are smoking hot and we had a blast shooting all the promo pictures and video, so it'll be nice to spend 4 days with them. Meeting my fans is always the biggest reward of all!
We first ran into this cutie at the release party for Nikki Benz's Test Drive. We were immediately taken back by her smile. The expression, "lights up a room" was invented to describe girls live Stefani. Except in this case, she wasn't lighting up a room, but a red carpet. It boasts a totally original soundtrack from bands on MySpace (Editors Note: This is a first for an adult production. More on this later). And, most importantly, it features some of our favorite girls (Vivid Girl Lacie Heart, Justine Joli and Tyler Houston) doing what they do best.
We caught up with the perpertually busy fan of metaphors, Ron Royster. During our time together, we spoke of his penchant for quest directors, using MySpace to create a soundtrack and his distaste for traffic in Los Angeles.
When we first met Justine Joli, we were on the set of first-time director Cat Purcel's "Alpha 15: Big Sister and the Trial of Emily Labore". When we sat down with comedian and "King of Queens" regular Patton Oswalt, we didn't know quite what to expect. There's nothing worse than interviewing a comedian who's "on" and wants to perform the entire time. This is espcially true if one is suffering a particularly nasty hangover.
